The idea for Sendoso came from Kris’s experiences manually creating handwritten notes and packing swag boxes, which he believed could be automated, integrated, and scaled. Sendoso helps companies automate and scale direct mail and gifting campaigns to stand out and break through the noise of email marketing.

Kris emphasizes that meaningful gifting is crucial and suggests considering the right time to send the gift, the message with the gift note, and the gift itself, as well as the timing and who else is receiving it on the buying committee. Kris also notes that personalization is key and that just like bad emails, sending out bad gifts wastes time and effort.
